Interested in helping kids grow their love of hockey?

To get started coaching with the Blades there are a few steps to complete:

1. Email the Hockey Coaching Director (hockey.coaching@barreyouthsports.com) with the following info:
   • Name
   • Age group you are interested in helping out with
   • Your coaching experience and a few words on your coaching style/philosophy
   • The names of any children you have registered in the BYSA hockey program
2. Complete USA Hockey Online Coaches Registration for Insurance coverage ($50 fee): Click to Open
3. Complete VSAHA Registration & Background Check (approval good for 2 seasons): Click to Open
4. Register as a coach and complete consents online on the BYSA Hockey page by clicking HERE.
5. Fulfill USA hockey coaching education requirements (annual coaching clinic & age appropriate online modules) Complete USA Hockey age appropriate online module ($10 per module): Click to Open
